Top five reason why being a toddler rocks

< facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Dear Adults,

There are a lot of reasons why it’s great to be a kid. In my world- Time  doesn’t really have any relevance, mommy waits on me every single moment of the day (what else does she have going for her anyways) and well the naps are kinda great to be honest, even though I fight them every.single. afternoon. But the real reason why it rocks is because there are things I can pull off, that -well let’s face it, you adults just can’t!

Here is my countdown to why I think it rocks to be a toddler

5. I can go out in my jammies and people still turn around and say “Aww, How cute!” Plus there is the whole built in socks thing, gotta admit it’s a pretty sweet deal.

4. You know what I really enjoy? –Chores. I love to “help” my mommy. Chores are honestly fun!

3. I can eat 1/4th of a cheese stick, half a bowl of cheerios, a mini pizza, some crackers I stashed behind the door yesterday and some random thing that I think constitutes as food and still feel great. Maybe it’s the juice and milk right after that helps settle my stomach.

2. Falling on my butt isn’t all that bad really. I am about two feet from the ground whereas you are probably twice that. It’s like they say, the bigger they are- the harder they fall.

1. My day is filled with bubble baths, jumping in puddles, playing with the neighbor’s cat, painting with my fingers, making play-doh puppies, eating PBnJ sandwiches, music/dance classs, peek-a-booing, reading about elmo n stuff. What is your day made of?

All in all it’s a pretty sweet deal. Some might say that’s a lot of work but honestly you know me, I like to keep busy. So my dear readers while I will be making sure I do all of the above things and keep busy, I hope you have a great weekend too.

    • Oh yea, so weird how we don’t realize how nice it is to have someone else take care of the house until we are doing it ourself.

  6. Totally! And what about all the cute little outfits you get to wear (not just the pi’s). You’ll only get away with Hello Kitty when your a little darling, not when your 38 :P (which is total crap!)

    • I agree! Hello Kitty should have no age limit, such beauty and cuteness should not be limited to any age every :)
