Benevolent Dictator

“Oh Look! It’s sunny outside” she said. “I take you for a walk”

“You mean you want Mumma to take you for a walk.”

“No. I TAKE YOU FOR WALK.”

“Ok, ok no need to yell!”

So she did take me for a walk. We walked the trail on a path of her choosing and I followed her around while she was kind enough to bestow me with her nuggets of wisdom like “You can only do crossings on zebera crossings” and “Be real quiet near the pond or the dukies will flies away.” And “Now you take Gia’s photols.”

And I did all of the above.

• I crossed at the zebera crossings only

• I was real quiet but the dukies still flies away

• I did take the photols exactly like she asked me to.

But even so, I got this look!

If that look doesn’t spell disapproval, then I don’t know what does.

In all fairness when we got back home, she looked at me all grown up and said “Good Job Mumma. You did well!”

I can safely say – Benevolent Dictator is somewhere up there on the list of possible future professions.
